Meet The Farmers
Courtney and Justin were your typical farm kids. They grew up enjoying the outdoors, riding in the tractors with family members, feeding calves, and helping in anyway they could.
Courtney - owner/operator
Courtney clocked into the farm at an early age. There are a lot of memories of milking cows, feeding all the baby calves, baling hay and straw, and riding in the tractors. When it was time to go off to college she had decided not to go an agricultural route and instead had plans on going into the healthcare industry. Being a multi sport athlete in high school lead her really enjoyed sports medicine and got a degree in Nutrition and Physical Science. Around her junior year of college she was really missing the agricultural way of life and realized being in the city was not for her. In 2018 she had the decision of either milking cows on her own or selling the herd. She wasn't quite ready to see the farm sit empty so she took it upon herself to milk twice a day on her own all while maintaining an off the farm job. She now helps run the farm operation with the help of her parents and brother.
Justin - owner/operator
Justin knew from early on that he wanted to farm. He was always outside with the cows or in the tractor. If it was raining out he was inside carpet farming. After high school he got an associates degree in Dairy Science and started working on the farm full time. He has a passion and an eye for cattle. He has worked very hard the last few years to really improve the genetics in our herd.
